While I was on vacation one of my favorite artists passed. Elizabeth Murray was 66; she died of lung cancer. Her work is her testament, so I'll let it speak for itself. (Click any image to enlarge.)Bowtie, 2000.

Elizabeth Murray was brilliant. Now I'm making an essay for college about her work and I can't stop getting surprised even more. By every word I write about it or every time I see one of her pictures again, I discover a new aspect of her art, wich I really love and admire. Nice blog you have and good you like her too.
I was born in Peru and brought up in Australia and the Dominican Republic. Currently I am living in New York City and working in the animation industry.
